Pennsylvania and New York. In 1993, she was named Police Woman
of the year by the International Association of Women Police.
Raoul Rapneth provided over thirty
years of service to the Pittsburgh police force. Qualified as
an expert witness for court cases, he was named the top expert
witness in the area of drugs for the Allegheny County District
Attorney's Office.
The three detectives often worked on major cases, some with national
dimensions. Their success didn't escape the notice of the media.
Their work in breaking the infamous "China White" case,
in which 24 people died of overdoses from synthetic heroin, was
featured on the network television show, "Top Cops."
And they were featured in a four-day series, "Narcs,"
in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, among numerous other stories and
features about them.
